After a slow morning start we decided to take the kids to Tropical Fruit World to have a nice and relaxing day doing something different with a bit of variety. We really enjoyed the experience, some things could be done a bit better like the explanation of the farming process of some of their fruit varieties and the stages of the fruit ripening process would have been interesting to learn about. We did learn that they are situated on the north eastern rim of the mount warning volcanic crater. The kids got to feed a few animals and go on a small train and boat ride and the day ended with a fruit tasting which was very interesting. We enjoyed the taste of the yellow dragon fruit the most but loved the colour of the red variety.
We had a catch up with Susie and Geoff Spargo and Uncle Bryan, Aunty Vicki, Bradley and Dane who decided to camp down here at Chinderah with us. We had a sit around chit chat all afternoon and then fish and chips for dinner over in the rec hall. Kira has been a cling on all afternoon so my time was cut short with the night time duties of motherhood - bath and bed. Until tomorrow.....
